Ján Pernecký
Founder of Subdigital & rese arch (SK)
Ján Pernecký is a founder of an independent platform rese arch supporting and teaching conceptual and generative approaches in architecture and a founding partner of a creative studio Subdigital. He studied architecture at Bratislava, Faculty of Architecture STU, Academy of fine arts and Design, , Bratislava, Excessive III / Die Angewandte, Vienna and Arkitekturskolan KTH, Stockholm.
He has taught architecture, creative programming and robotic fabrication at universities in Slovakia, Czechia, Poland, Italy and independently in Austria, Slovakia, Czechia, Poland and Italy. With his colleagues he has conducted independent research on the theory of digital architecture (genetic algorithms, generative design, design by behavior) and lecturing at private events and universities (Faculty of Architecture, STU, SK; Academy of Fine Arts and Design, SK; Faculty of Arts, TUKE, SK; Faculty of Arts, VUT, CZ; UTB, CZ; IaAC, ES). He was the creator and curator of Asking Architecture - Slovak and Czech national pavilion at 13th architecture exhibition of la Biennale di Venezia.
